This second edition of the festival aims to demonstrate the crucial role of craft skills in the future of our societies, in the face of ecological challenges and the need for regional resilience. Bearers of the values of excellence, creativity, respect for the environment and diversity of local practices, these skills are major players in innovation, transmission and sustainability.
French Craft will naturally be present at this event on Saturday November 18 for stories, sharing and testimonials on these subjects:
- “Bringing furniture back to the craftsman: a model for sustainable development?” at 11:45am with Charles de Dainville and Henri Danzin de Jaùh (external link), publishers of contemporary handcrafted furniture.
- "Designer's story: working with burnt wood" at 2pm with Sénéquier (external link).
- “Willing VS being able to conduct the ecological transition” at 3pm with Pascale Lesage from Arthylae (external link).
