On Thursday, December 12, 2024, many of you joined us for the launch of the Mobilier national's Laboratory of sustainable practices.
Under the theme “National Manufactures, Sustainable manufactures”, this day of exchanges questioned the habitability of the world through 4 themes supported by expert speakers:
- The first round table addressed materials and processes inspired by / based on nature, with Tony Jouanneau (Atelier Sumbiosis (external link)), Aurélie Mossé (Ensad Lab PSL Sacre (external link)) and Sandrine Rozier (external link) (Textile designer), and was hosted by par Carole Petitjean (RDAI (external link)).
- The second discussion, “Tomorrow, start-ups in the arts and crafts?” brought together Katie Cotellon (Saint-Gobain Research Paris (external link)), Bernard Leroy (Agglomération Seine-Eure (external link)), Thomas Paris (HEC - CNRS (external link)) and Éric Angiboust (Muzéo (external link)), and was hosted by Stefano Micelli (Université Ca' Foscari (external link) - Homo Faber Economy).
- The third discussion, moderated by Marc Bayard (Mobilier national (external link)), looked at how digital technologies are redefining the contours of manual skills, with Julien Benayoun (Bold Design (external link)), Chloé Bensahel (external link) (Textile artist), Cyrile Deranlot (Daumet (external link)), Laurent Gaveau (Culture & Tech Consultant ) et Anne Liberati (Studio Liberati (external link)).
- The day ended with a debate on the necessary construction of collective imaginations, bringing together Marc Aurel (external link) (Designer), Ramy Fischler (external link) (Designer), Aurélien Fouillet (Sociologist) and Élodie Ternaux (Hyloh (external link)), also moderated by Marc Bayard.
